Terms and Conditions
1. CONDITIONS APPLYING
(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these conditions will govern all contracts including all online contracts for the sale of the Company’s goods or supply of its services. Any qualification, amendment, or addition to these conditions imposed by the Customer will not apply unless expressly accepted by the Company in writing.
2. BASIS OF SALE
(a) An order from the Customer shall constitute an offer, and acknowledgment of that order by the Company shall constitute acceptance. The only representations in connection with the Company’s goods or services for which the Company will accept liability are those specifically referred to in the Company’s price list or quotation.
(b) Advertising material, brochures, or website content shall not form part of the contract unless specifically agreed in writing.
(c) Any advice or recommendations given by the Company or its employees that are not confirmed in writing are followed at the Customer’s own risk.
(d) Any typographical or clerical error in the Company’s material is subject to correction without liability.
3. PRICE
(a) The Company reserves the right to alter the price of the goods to reflect any change in costs due to factors beyond the Company’s control, including changes in delivery dates or specifications requested by the Customer.
(b) Prices are in £GBP and inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Delivery is free within certain postcodes, with some exceptions.
4. PAYMENT
(a) Full payment must be received on or before the day of delivery.
(b) Payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express, Cash, or by prior arrangement via Cheque.
(c) The Customer warrants that the credit or debit card used belongs to them and has sufficient funds.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
(a) Either party may cancel the contract by giving written notice 21 days prior to the delivery date, before the commencement of manufacture.
(b) Cancellation after order acceptance but before manufacture will result in a full refund.
(c) For cancellations within 21 days of delivery, the company may retain 15% of the total cost to cover materials and administration fees.
6. DELIVERY AND ACCESS
(a) The quoted delivery date is given in good faith, but time is not of the essence, and the Company is not liable for delays.
(b) It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure delivery access. Any miscommunication about access may result in additional charges.
7. ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
(a) All buildings are pre-treated with a factory base coat. The Customer is advised to treat the building with a good quality wood preserver upon installation.
(b) The Customer is responsible for ensuring adequate parking and access to the site for installation.
8. RISK AND TITLE
(a) Risk of accidental loss or damage to goods passes to the Customer at the time of delivery.
(b) Goods remain the property of the Company until full payment has been received.
9. LIABILITY
(a) The Company’s liability to the Customer shall not exceed the cost of the goods.
(b) The Company is not liable for defects caused by factors such as normal wear and tear or misuse.
10. GENERAL
(a) The Customer is responsible for the building’s general maintenance after installation. Doors and windows may need re-adjustment due to base settling.
(b) The Company reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions, and it is the Customer’s responsibility to check the website regularly.
